The Clinical Team
The clinical team headed by Dr. Tonmoy Sharma has
expertise in conducting studies relating to CNS disorders.
Their experience covers the management and co-ordination
of multiple studies involving MREC, LREC and IEC applications,
subject recruitment initiatives and study promotion.
Members of Dr.. Sharma’s team at the CNRC are trained
according to ICH GCP.
The team includes research scientists and psychologists,
consultant psychiatrists, physicians, psychophysiologists
research nurses, communication specialists and administrative
support staff.
Doctor Tonmoy Sharma MD MRCPsych - Director
Director of the Centre Tonmoy Sharma trained at UCL and
then at the Institute of Psychiatry, London, where he was
Senior Lecturer. He headed the Section of Cognitive Psychopharmacology
at the Institute of Psychiatry, London (1997 – 2001)
before opening the CNRC.
Dr. Sharma has worked on with numerous studies in
the area of CNS research and has been involved in over 40
clinical studies as a Principal Investigator or co-Investigator. Dr. Sharma continues to work with a number of pharmaceutical
companies in many areas of drug development. This includes
advising companies on drug development protocols. In addition,
he has a very strong academic track record, having authored
over 50 peer-reviewed publications as well as receiving
independent peer-reviewed funding from a number of agencies.
